St. Brigid’s Girls’ U-13 football team went undefeated this season in the Limerick City C division. Their great run culminated in victory in the city final in the Gaelic Grounds. All the girls on the panel played their part in all matches and we are very proud of the sportsmanship & great team spirit they showed. It is the first time in the history of St. Brigids School that the girls won a football title and we are very proud of them!

On the back of their great performances for St. Brigid’s Libby Costelloe & Jodie Griffin have been selected for the Limerick City Larkin Shield football team. We wish them all the best in their match v Limerick East on Nov 16th.
